Over the years Laugharne has become a haven for artists, writers and photographers attracted by its association with Dylan Thomas, its imposing castle and its wonderful location on the Tâf estuary. At the Boat House B &B, you can relax in your own stylish room with en-suite facilities and subtle décor, and be pampered in four star luxury before choosing from the extensive breakfast menu which includes freshly baked muffins and waffles and smoked salmon as well as the more traditional favourites. 
Fern Hill Orchard is a friendly, family run B&B situated in the unique ancient township of Laugharne, whose many customs date back to the 12th century. 'Sleepy, timeless seatown on sandy fringes of Carmarthen Bay made famous by Dylan Thomas. Has changed little since his time.'The B&B is within a short walking distance of Dylan's Boat House, Laugharne Castle and the Estuary, there are a variety of restuarants close by, and Broadway Mansion and Hurst House are only a short drive away. Guests are welcome to use the sitting room and orchard garden, which backs onto a park.Refreshments are offered on arrival, a full Welsh breakfast is included in the price - why not try our local delicacy lava bread(seaweed)? Special dietry needs can be catered for with prior notice. Also we can pick you up from the local station £7 minimum each journey. Children are welcome, for really young children please bring your own travel cot. The twin room is suitable for children, 2-6 years £8.00 per child per night, 7-11 years £12.00 per child per night, 12 years + £30.00 per child per night. Welcome Host . Ardwyn is a glorious "Belle Epoque" style guest house built in the early 1900's. Bursting with arts and craft features it encompasses a decidedly creative atmosphere. Art Nouveau touches can be found from the roll top baths to the light fittings which feature throughout the house. The house was fully restored in 2002, and has been brought up to today's standards of heating, insulation, plumbing, electrics and fire systems for the safety and comfort of our guests. The essential character of the guest house is still however, determinedly present. Ardwyn House is situated in Llanwrtyd Wells, Britain's smallest town albeit with a big heart.
Our Bed and Breakfast accommodation in Snowdonia National Park serves up breathtaking views and big breakfasts in style. The former Victorian slate cutting mill has been fully refurbished with furniture custom made by local crafts makers, modern design classics and traditional Welsh materials. Our dining area and best bedrooms overlook the beautiful Mawddach Estuary and mountains: watch the tide come in over breakfast, see the sun set over a drink on the terrace. Explore Graig Wen's 45 acres of wild woods and meadows leading down to the Mawddach Trail from Barmouth to Dolgellau or follow footpaths into the hills. Our breakfasts range from a full Welsh cooked breakfast of locally cured bacon and free range eggs and sausage from the neighbouring farm to a continental with fresh fruit, Welsh cheese, croissant and home made granola. We are licensed to serve alcohol and simple evening snacks can be provided by arrangement. There are good local restuarants and pubs to eat out with 5 minutes drive in Dolgellau and Fairbourne. Other attractions with easy reach include Blue flag sandy beaches, mountain biking and Go Ape hire wire adventure at Coed y Brenin, Harlech Castle, Centre for Alterntive Technology and Portmeirion. Children over 10 welcome. Our own dogs are happy to welcome well behaved dogs too. We have a standard ground floor room with en suite wet room which is accessible for ambulant disabled people - please ask for availability.
Set just 10 minutes walk from the centre of Llanwrtyd provides easy access to excellent pubs and restaurants. Cerdyn Villa, on the Heart of Wales Line has just 2 beautifully decorated, cosy ensuite rooms with views of the Irfon Valley. We provide an ideal base for exploring the Brecon Beacons, Cambrian Mountains and Elan Valley. Both rooms have double beds, mini fridge, tea/coffee facilities, TV/DVD player and en-suite shower rooms. The cosy guest lounge/diner also has tea/coffee facilities, TV, video and a selection of books and games. Our breakfasts are from local meat produce, homemade vegetarian options and free range eggs (provided by our own hens )
